Jubilee Park 
A popular 200-acre park in Jamshedpur offers everything one needs for a day of family fun. Created by Tata Steel, the park was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru the then Prime minister. One of the most visited parks in India,Jubilee Park is a wonderful place to visit with something to entertain your whole family.

Tata Steel Zoological Park 
A variety of flora and fauna exists in condition close to their natural habitat at the zoological park. Situated besides the Jubilee Park, it is a treat for all the nature lovers. Anyone can closely observe the flourishing nature here without a microscope. Migratory Birds visiting every year during winters is equally enchanting for all the bird lovers. The park also has a beautiful lake, a boathouse and “Machaan Restaurant”.

Rivers Meet
The confluence of rivers Kharkai and Subarnarekha,Rivers Meetis a cosy and quiet retreat, located at the extreme north-west point of the city, it is ideal for picnic.

Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary
Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most famous national parks in Jharkhand. The park is an entrancing preserve for tigers, elephants, barking deer, sloth beer, porcupines, leopard, etc.Rich in flora and fauna, the park is a major wildlife tourist destination that has allured several wildlife photographers and enthusiasts in large number. There is also a temple of Shiva on the mountaintop and the devotees throng to it on Shivaratri.

Jayanti Sarowar 

Earlier known as Jubilee Lake, Jayanti Sarowar is spread over an area of 40 acres. The Sarowar was specially dredged and deepened for boating. There is an island at the centre of the lake, which adds immense beauty to the lake.

Hudco Lake
Travellers to Hudco Lake are in for a treat. Located in Telco Colony of the city, the place is a huge draw card for visitors. The reason is obvious. There is a beautiful park and picnic spot with an artificial waterfall and lake. Its scenic beauty will certainly appeal to your sense of sight.

Bhuvaneshwari temple
Sitting atop a small hill, Bhuvaneshwari temple offers a panoramic view of the city. The scenic surroundings of the temple coupled with a spectacular view of a meandering rivermake the tour of the visitors to this perfect setting for a sojourn in Jamshedpur.

Sir Dorabji Tata Park 
Manicured Lawns and flowerbeds and brilliantly lit fountains provide a delightful touch of colour to the park, named in the memory of eldest son of J N Tata. The park is situated in the centre of the city close to the Keenan Stadium.

Dimna Lake
Located at a distance of 13 km from the city limits, at the foot of Dalma Hills, its salubrious surrounding is ideal for outing. People from all across the region come here during December-January for picnic. Tata Steel has constructed this lake as a water reservoir for its plant and the city.


Jadugora: Located on Hata-Musabani road Jadugora is about 40 km from Jamshedpur. The place is known for its uranium mines.

Musabani: 40 km from Jamshedpur, Musabani, located in Purbi Singhbhum district Jharkhand, is famous for copper mines.

Noamundi: 64 km Southwest of Chaibasa, the place is known for Iron ore mines.

Ghatshila: 40 km east of Jamshedpur, Ghatshila is located on River Subarnarekha. The place is the birth-place of famous Bengali writer Bibhuti Bhushan Bandyapadhaya.
