Om Beach, one of Gokarna’s five famed beaches, takes the shape of an “Om”, a Hindu spiritual symbol.

The drive up the winding path that leads to Gokarna is a scenic delight with rocky mountains and the Western Ghats on one side, and the Arabian Sea on the other. Adventurous tourists must be prepared for a bit of cliff-scrambling in this coastal town.

Mahabaleshwar Temple
The most famous shrine in Gokarna, Mahabaleshwar Templeis located at the western end of the main street. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple enshrines Atmalinga attracting thousands of visitors during the Shivaratri festival’.

Om Beach
Full of sun and sand, Om Beach takes the shape of an “Om”, a Hindu spiritual symbol. Gokarna, Kudle, Half Moon, and Paradise are other beaches which are indeed natural wonders.

The Maha Ganapati Temple
Located in close proximity to the Mahabaleshwar Temple, the shrine is dedicated toLord Ganesha.
