Also known as Baidyanath Dham, Baba Dham and by various other names, the district town Deoghar in Jharkhand is home one of the holiest Hindu places.

Travel to Deoghar and you will be confronted by a symbol of Hindu India in the spiritually important Baidyanath Dham Temple, the number-one attraction of this place that draws hordes of pilgrims daily. Nandan Pahar
A picturesque place, where the serenity of the hilly terrain is supplemented by the presence of beautiful temple, the small hill of Nandan Pahar is located on the edge of Deoghar town. Famous for Nandi temple, the place is home to a big park for children.

Naulakha Mandir
One of the major highlights of Deoghar, Naulakha Mandir is located 1.5 km away from Baba Baidyanath Temple. Resembling the temple of Ramakrishna in Belur in West Bengal, 146 feet high Naulakha Mandir houses idols of Radha – Krishna. Due to the cost incurred on its construction, the temple came to be known as Naulakha Temple.

Satsang Ashram
Satsang Ashram located in south-west of Deoghar is one of the most frequented pilgrimage destinations in Jharkhand. Established by Shri Shri Thakur Anukulchandra in 1946, the Ashram is a sanctuary of peace and serenity for his followers. It is visited by people from across the world.

Located 10 km from Deoghar, Tapovan attracts devotes for its famous Shiva temple, known as Taponath Mahadeva. Known for caves and hilltop temples Tapovan is a picturesque place. Tradion has it that Sage Valmiki came here for penance. It is said that Sri Sri Balananda Brahmachari attained his divinity through penance here.


Basukinath Temple 
Located 43 km from Deoghar near the village of Jarmundi in Dumka district of Jharkhand Basukinath Temple is dedicated to Shiva. A pilgrimage to Baba Dham is considered incomplete without visiting Basukinath.
