Excursions

Topchanchi (37 km)
Topchanchi is situated on the Grand Trunk Road. The places a beautiful artificial reservoir excavated in 1915 to supply water to Jharia. Occupying an area of 214 acres, the place is a famous picnic spot.

Maithon Dam
This is one of the most popular excursions from Dhanbad.
